Luke 10:2Luke 10:2
“Then He said to
them, the harvest
truly is great, but the
labourers are few.
Therefore pray to the
Lord of the harvest
that He may send
forth labourers into
His harvest.”
|
|
|
|
The harvest is truly great: In 2010 there is an estimated 6.8 billion
people in the world, of which an estimated 3.5 billion people who have
never heard the gospel. There has never been a greater opportunity in
history to be involved in the harvest.
Labourers few: The Lord is willing to send labourers into the harvest
but the labourers are not willing to go, as less that 10% of born again
Christians share their faith.
Therefore pray: Prayer is not in response to the harvest being truly
great but the labourers being few. We are to pray that labourers will hear
the Lord’s call on their life and will respond faithfully going out into the
harvest.

- African Military Edition has been exceptionally well received and Military Christian Fellowship are looking
for more papers as well as language editions.
Dear Peter [Louwrens, Military Christian Fellowship, South Africa],
Thank you for the copy of the “Challenge”. It is very well done and
a good mixture of stories, testimonies but also riddles, comics etc......
I think it can be used in Europe as well. We can consider and
discuss how we can do that.........but it is important, I think it
will be helpful for the ministry in Europe. — Rainer
- Letter from our representative in Zimbabwe.
Praise be to God for the overwhelming response which we are

I still can’t believe what I just heard!
First of all, THANK YOU for your prayers. Although we left Monte with a little
drizzle, by the time we arrived in Buenos Aires the weather had cleared. The
sun wasn’t shining and there was a serious overcast, BUT NO RAIN!
Safety-wise, despite being surrounded by what the police estimated
600,000 people in attendance, the Lord took real good care of us. We
were able to hand out a total of 20,000 newspapers containing the Gospel
message.
Only eternity will tell what happened when those families sat down to read
the contents of that tract. We trust the seed was sown and God will bring
forth the fruit in due time.
Now here’s the AMAZING part. One of the staff members of Word Of Life
stopped in a petrol station in Buenos Aires and ran into LIONEL MESSI (only
one of the best soccer players in the world, who happens to be Argentine
and playing for the national team)
and gave him a copy of our World
Cup Edition newspaper! As
they were walking out of the
fuel station they saw him sit
down and read the story on
the front page.
We thank God for the
privilege of serving Him!
Thank you for being
a part of our
ministry!
