One of the most awkward and sometimes stressful tasks while dating is making the ‘thanks but no thanks’ (TBNT) speech. For most people it isn’t easy. Some prefer to avoid the TBNT speech all together by dropping hints and hoping the other person will ‘get the message’. Other times though, a TBNT speech is either appropriate or unavoidable.
